Along with this dedication, Jason brings an impressive set of skills to his role as a REALTOR®. Prior to attending Arizona State University and graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he was in sales for the world’s largest trade distributor of plumbing and heating products. That position gave him extensive knowledge of home building, along with skill in sales, negotiating, communication, time management, and organization.
Jason’s attention to detail, his quest for knowledge, and his insistence on excellence combine to give his listing clients a distinct advantage in the marketplace. His market knowledge and the time he spends researching and calculating value adjustments mean that his listings are priced correctly. Then he adds exceptional marketing, including professional photography, 3D tours, floor plans, magazine-style property brochures, websites, open houses, and extensive print and internet exposure.
Jason holds the Certified International Property Specialist designation, earned through an intensive five day course with attendees from all over the world. In addition to an Arizona Broker’s license, he is licensed in Sonora, Mexico and has previously been licensed in British Columbia, Canada. He has long been known for his expertise in assisting international buyers and sellers as they navigate real estate complexities and regulations far different from those in their home countries. One of those complexities is Jason’s experience helping foreign owners of US property navigate the IRS’s Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act “FIRPTA”.
Past clients remember Jason as the owner of Talka International Realty, which he and his wife Stephanie founded in 2009. In 2019 they purchased the rights to a RE/MAX franchise and converted Talka International Realty to RE/MAX Advantage. Why the change? Because RE/MAX is the worldwide real estate industry leader, with a global network that offers competitive advantages to both buyers and sellers. This exposure matters, because many of Jason’s clients are international buyers and sellers.
Education plays a significant role in Jason’s life. He’s dedicated to continually learning and improving so he can offer the best technology, products, and services to his clients. His commitment to ongoing education and certification keeps him ahead of the ever-changing real estate market. Both Jason and his wife Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University with the distinction of having achieved Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, Stephanie earned her Juris Doctor of Law (JD) from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
Jason’s leisure time activities include working out at the gym, relaxing at the pool, BBQing, golfing, watching sports, and taking his Boxer, Rocky, on walks. He, Stephanie, and Rocky also enjoy taking off in their motorhome to visit other wonderful places in Arizona and the surrounding states.
